I value passion, hard work, and family. Passion drives us to pursue our dreams, and hard work makes them a reality. For me, family encompasses more than just the immediate circle of my wife, parents, and siblings. It extends to the wider circle of those we choose to love, with whom we can work together to shape our world into a better place.
My passion for entrepreneurship led me to start an e-commerce business at 18. The experience of owning a business at a young age was extremely influential. It taught me about the difference between hard work and smart work, about having vision, and the power of perseverance.
I earned my bachelor's degree in CS with a focus on Artificial Intelligence at USC's Viterbi School of Engineering. Later, I studied Artificial Intelligence at Stanford University.
I've worked as a software engineer at Branch International, Human Dx, Graphiq (Acquired by Amazon), IBM, and Velocloud Networks (acquired by Cisco). I worked as the Director of Engineering at Catalog, a platform for creative content. I've also been involved in various entrepreneurial ventures, assuming roles such as CTO of the DailyDeed (a DC-based startup), Founder of GiftsForAllKids.com (a non-profit organization), Data Guru for RydeBikes (a USC startup), and technical co-founder of Xavier (thought-to-text software). Currently, I am a senior software engineer at Meta.
At Meta, I work on the next generation of user access and identity across Facebook, Instagram, Messenger, and Metaverse products as the lead engineer for Reality Labs Access.
Outside of my professional pursuits, I enjoy traveling, running, playing volleyball, motorcycle riding, and mountain climbing.
Lastly, I am blessed to be happily married to Brynne, whose infectious joy and unwavering love inspires and grounds me every day.
