I am Jon. I am married to Jo, we now have 4 children and 2 cats (annyong kitten and Poppet), we did have cat with one eye but she didn't come home. I have been running Astral Couriers, a UK based sameday express courier company for the last 19 years. Feathers in my hat include - snowboarding, kitesurfing, skateboarding, unicycling (and associated injuries/scabs), playing guitar and ukulele, and removing and replacing the gearbox in our '63 Splitty with no prior workshop mechanic skills!
I'm not a proper geek, as in one that programes or writes code, but I am a geek as in one that has an interest in the internets, I know about about silly things like the Golden Ratio, and I'm a sucker for Apple products, but only replace when one mine dies - managed 4 years out of an iPhone 4!
My current obsession is running, I like to run as my escape. Sometime I feel the need to escape a little more than 10km before work, but that escape as to be pre-planned, so in 2015 I will be escaping twice to run -80 miles in April and 100 miles in June.
