Hi, my name is Jon Zobrist. I’m an IT guy. I live in West Jordan, UT with my wonderful wife and 3 children. My website, Jon Zobrist . com is an aggregation of pages I’ve had up for a while. I love technology. Currently I am working on Amazon Web Services at @inthinc. My links are below. I love helping companies migrate to the cloud, or just setup a Disaster Recovery plan using the cloud. 

I'm fascinated by Social Media, and try to keep up. I believe Twitter is undervalued (it's an intelligently filtered NEWS source, not a bathroom log). I think Facebook is overvalued (Facebook is great for sharing with friends and family, but is ultimately limited in scope to what are personal connections, or a blinded brand affection). Tumblr is only good since it's simple. About.me and sights that share bio's are valueable as blog feeders. Blogs are critical in sharing what you think, know, and do, with others.

I'm interested in automation, cloud computing, algorithms that give you an edge, business intelligence, Computer hardware, Tablet computing, iOS, Android, and the undeniable beauty of Apple hardware.
