Jordan-Marie Smith

Jordan-Marie is a sophomore at American University in Washington, DC taking strides in learning both academic and real-world experience in the international and domestic focus of print and digital journalism.

In her career, Jordan-Marie has written for the student newspaper The Eagle, American Today, and created publications for the International Communiation department at American University. She also serves as the social outreach coordinator for the model united nations team and conference at the university where she has developed her interests in social media and its power to innovate and implement modern ideas.

When not studying, reporting, or developing video editing and social media skills Jordan-Marie enjoys reading articles about travel, higher education, and social/cultural development throughout the world. Her primary goal in life is to write about international affairs, edit digital content, and be a catalyst for social change in gender issues and youth education.
