Former assistant professor of cultural tourism in the Center for Latin American and the Caribbean Studies at New York University (2001). He is also currently visiting professor at the Master and Doctorate Program in Heritage Management and Tourism at Université Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne and at the Cultural Management Specialization at the Universidad Andina Simon Bolivar - Quito.

Consultant and collaborator for heritage management and creative economy, orange tourism (cultural and creative tourism), cultural routes, international cultural cooperation, and cultural diplomacy for international organizations (Council of Europe, European Union, IADB, OEI, SEGIB, SICA, UNESCO, UNWTO, World Bank), national cooperation agencies (AECID, Alliance Française, Cooperazione Italiana allo Sviluppo, Cooperation Suisse, GIZ), and privated international foundations (WMF).
