Born in Spain, Jose Carlos Gonzalez-Hurtado attended Pontificia Comillas University in Madrid and acquired a selection of degrees. Fluently speaking many languages, this Spanish entrepreneur has a remarkable career to his name which stretches over the last 2 decades and his proficiency in “end to end” consumer Markets has earned himself a standing as a principal leader in the business world.

With his vibrant Spanish temperament and his sharp marketing instincts, these fine qualities have assisted him in his ability to be able to understand the local market conditions and establish successful communication in certain arenas.

Jose Carlos’ Experience:

Jose Carlos Gonzalez-Hurtado began his notable career in 1989 with Procter and Gamble (P&G). After climbing the ladder he developed into P&G’s Global Business Unit as the Marketing Director for Fabric Care in Western Europe. Over the years with P&G he served in many positions in various units and ultimately became Officer of the Company.

From 2001 to 2004 Gonzalez-Hurtado held the position of General Manager of P&G in Israel, West Bank and Gaza. In 2003 he was named Executive of the Year by Israel’s national newspaper due to his skills in tripling P&G’s profits and doubling the number of brands at such a severe economic recession at that time. He was accountable for the considerable growth in P&G’s business in Europe and Middle East and one of the fastest growing worldwide. During his assignment, P&G became the most awarded advertiser in Israel and he achieved one of the best World employee satisfaction rates of 94%.

From 2004 to 2006 Gonzalez-Hurtado served as General Manager of P&G’s Global Leaders
