Jose Carlos Diaz

I’m a Digital Strategist expert in Agile Product Management with 10 years of experience in both digital and non-digital business models.

Until recently, I led the Digital Entertainment Division of bq (http://www.bq.com), a fast-growing european Consumer Electronics manufacturer with a long history developing Digital Entertainment ecosystems. I mainly focused in managing Product Management and Agile Development Teams to create great software products (iOs & Android apps, web apps, backend services, back office tools, APIs...) they were valuable, usable and feasible. I have a vast experience in Digital Product Definition as well as in Digital Strategy Definition, since my early career steps with the boom on Internet in late 90's.

My previous experience includes sales management and product marketing working with large accounts in Aerospace&Defence, Industry and Government & Public Sector.

Now I'm collaborating as independent consultant for bq and startups like qDatum.io. I'm lecturing at different higher education institutions about agile teams and product management.

I'm interested in new and challenging projects as Digital Strategist or Chief Digital Officer.
