Joseph McCaleb

I’m Joseph McCaleb, AKA “DocHorseTales,” living in West Virginia (close to our horse Leg’cy) and working at the University of Maryland, College Park. Both to be environmentally-friendly and professionally-engaged, I’m enthusiastic about digital media and learning. My favorite course that I’m currently teaching is called Good Stories: Teaching Narratives for Peace & Justice where each semester 60 undergrads from across all majors are making digital media projects that move from individual identity into imagining our way toward socially-responsible futures. I’m finding that concepts from “quantum storytelling” like “timespacematter/ing” contribute to bridging our individual pasts into futures with more peace and justice by making it happen right now, at least in our digital media productions. Think of it as rehearsal space.
