Joseph Braude is a Mid-East scholar, author, and broadcaster who enjoys learning about the Middle East and sharing his views and experiences. He serves as Advisor to Al-Mesbar Center for Research and Studies in Dubai, Senior Fellow at the Foreign Policy Research Institute in Philadelphia, and Strategic Advisor on Programming and Projects in the Middle East and North Africa for America Abroad Media in Washington.

Joseph Braude is married to author Ruth Franklin. They share a Brooklyn home, two wonderful step-children, and a beautiful daughter together.
