Josh Stirpe

An accomplished executive based in Spokane, Washington, Josh Stirpe brings more than 13 years’ experience in sales, marketing, and operational management to his current position. As the AVP and Director of Licensed Sales for Safeco Insurance (a Liberty Mutual company), he develops and executes production and operational goals through the implementation of strategic business initiatives and sales incentive plans. Josh Stirpe’s significant contributions to the company’s sales have earned him numerous accolades, including the Liberty Mutual Leadership Award, the Safeco Innovation Award, the Safeco Driven Award, and the Safeco Milestone Award.

Prior to joining Safeco in 2003, Josh Stirpe served as a National Account Executive for Avaya, Inc., where he oversaw Lucent Technologies’ business development. Working with complex communication technology solution sets, he gained a reputation for surpassing sales goals. In his first year he exceeded his target by 120 percent with over $7 million in sales, and in his second year he cultivated relationships that led to $46 million in incremental business, exceeding his target by 516 percent. Mr. Stirpe received several awards while at Avaya, including the Avaya Follow the Sun Achiever award, the Avaya Crystal Ribbon Achiever award, the Avaya Millionaire Achiever award, and the Avaya Achievers Club award.

Josh Stirpe graduated from Eastern Washington University with a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and Human Resources in 1996, and an MBA with an emphasis in Management and Marketing in 1999. In his free time, he participates in a number of outdoor activities, including cycling, skiing, golfing, and gardening. He enjoys cooking and fine wine as well.
