Software Developer Turned Teacher.

My name is Josh Tucholski. I live and work in Cleveland, OH as a Lead Instructor for Tech Elevator, a 14 week coding bootcamp and career network. I’m also an owner of My Fireside Muse (an online Etsy shop specializing in reclaimed wood).

I have taken a non-traditional approach as a software developer. Over the past few years as a Senior Developer and Solution Architect my strengths have been soft skills, the intangible traits that it takes to be successful in any career. My passion for helping others become better versions of themselves led me to Tech Elevator. As an instructor, I’m fortunate to teach excited and curious students how to program. My strengths, patience and empathy, help me keep the pace of the class engaging, relevant, and low-pressure.

Outside of work, my wife, Andrea, and I are avid travellers and hikers to our country’s national parks. We’re parents to Jack who has managed to turn our usual routines of wining and dining with friends upside down on its head as we now spend each and every free moment keeping him active while he keeps us happy.
