Josh Shpayher is an attorney and founder of GovSM.com, a website that tracks how government uses social media. Josh is also a partner at Bechhofer Shpayher, LLP where he helps startups navigate the legal world.

GovSM has been featured in numerous national publications and Josh has written for the Washington Post, appeared as a guest on Sirius/XM radio and is a speaker and consultant to various government organizations and businesses.

Prior to GovSM, Josh has worked as a fellow on Capitol Hill and for a lobby firm in New York, with various legal work in between. Josh attended Brooklyn Law School where he earned his J.D. in 2007. He earned his undergraduate B.A. in economics from Yeshiva University in 2004. Josh is a passionate fan of the Cubs and Vikings, neither of which are doing well at the moment. He lives in Skokie, IL with his wonderful wife and two boys.
