Josh Shandell

A talented student, Josh Shandell is currently pursuing his degree at the Steven M. Ross School of Business at the University of Michigan. Expected to earn his bachelor of business administration in May of 2015, the junior has received several awards for his academic performance at the university, including inclusion on the honor roll, being named a James B. Angell Scholar, a Carson Scholar, and a Paton Accounting Fellow. Currently, Josh Shandell pursues a curriculum that focuses on finance and real estate, and hopes to combine the two subjects in his future career as a real estate investor.

Though still an undergraduate, Josh Shandell has already garnered valuable experience through his positions as a summer associate with major investment firms. In the summers of 2011 and 2012, Mr. Shandell served as a summer analyst with GTIS Partners, a prominent investment firm based in New York City. In this role, he was involved in underwriting of potential real estate acquisitions and asset management of portfolio assets. In the summer of 2013, he served as a real estate private equity summer analyst for New York-based firm Apollo Global Management.

Outside of his academic and professional life, Mr. Shandell enjoys playing soccer, cooking, and volunteering in the community.
