I am currently serving as the Cloud Program Office Lead for the NOAA Fisheries Office of the Chief Information Officer at NOAA Headquarters in Silver Spring, MD.

I hold a degree from Northern Arizona University and am presently a graduate student at Oregon State University.

In my previous role as Branch Chief for the Data and Information Systems Branch at the Northeast Fisheries Science Center, I led teams advancing IT initiatives with a focus on designing, developing, testing, debugging, delivering, and maintaining data information systems in support of regional fisheries monitoring and research efforts. This included the Northeast Observer Program, Electronic Monitoring Program, Cooperative Research Study Fleet Program, Gulf of Maine Bottom Longline Survey, among others.

I started my career at the Pacific Islands Regional Office, where I initially worked as a fisheries observer and program staff, and later I supported the Sustainable Fisheries Division, contributing to the development of regional fisheries management actions in compliance with acts such as the Magnuson-Stevens Act, Endangered Species Act, Marine Mammal Protection Act, and others.

I successfully completed the 2018 NOAA Fisheries Pacific Islands Regional Office Leadership Program. I received the 2014 NOAA General Counsel Award for "extraordinary ingenuity in designing a formula to extract data and images from a voluminous database, and efforts to expeditiously process the request." My achievements also include being named the NMFS 2014 Team Member of the Year and the recipient of the 2016 NMFS Employee of the Year Award.
