Communications. The backbone of any good relationship.

That's what I bring to the table - figuring out what we want to accomplish as a team - across all channels, not just one. Then I help get the job done.

And I've done for it a broad set of industries, including clinical research, financial services, government, technology, oil & gas and energy. I've done it in advertising, marketing, social, and now Diversity Equity & Inclusion (DE&I) and Environmental Social & Governance (ESG)

But, I wasn't always in communications, I started out in publishing, first in production, then editorial, landing my dream job of Loveswept, a women's category romance line. I still edit projects on the side when I can. It's fun, and keeps the grammar skills intact.

Born a Yankee in Chicago, I was raised a Tar Heel in North Carolina, and earned a BA degree in Political Science and International Studies at the UNC-Chapel Hill. I've now lived longer in NYC than I did in NC, so I'm not sure if I'm from here or there now, but I go back and forth so often (like A LOT), so they're both called home.

Right. So best practice is to build a personal brand. Sorry, not sorry, but I'm not building anything, I'm just me. So at any given time, I can be found gabbing about art and architecture, LEGO, NYC and London, cuteboys, television and film, Doctor Who and Duran Duran, and always about my endless list of behind-the-scenes tours, events, panels. And, every once in a while, just a little bit of the business of communications.
