Joy Goktepe has always enjoyed being active. Her father taught her to swim at age two, and he used to swim at the University of Maryland. Goktepe loves playing soccer (on a Fairfax County Soccer League), riding horses, skating on the ice, skiing (snow and water), tubing (on snow and in water), and riding bikes along trails.
