Hi, my name is Joy. I am a diagnosed learner, a researcher, an observer. After years of living in San Francisco, I am now in San Antonio. I've driven all over the U.S., and I have camped a lot. I've also travelled throughout the Pacific Rim, Switzerland, and Madrid. I've been to the Canary Islands four times. I've worked at Conde Nast, Bay Area Video Coalittion, Independent Television Service, and Texas Public Radio. I was once a student teacher poet for June Jordan. And yes, I am a Women's Studies grad from Berkeley. I live with my foodie husband, our two children, and my dad.
