As the bard himself put it, "Well, yeah, I guess it's obvious, I also like to write." And I'm good at it. I make my living in corporate communications for Fortune 500 companies, and when I'm not working I keep writing any way.

I wrote SocialCorp: Social Media Goes Corporate, a book on how to successfully adopt social business strategies in large companies. Computerworld called SocialCorp one of “five essential (social media) books,” and said “this well-laid-out book is filled with great references and ‘why didn’t I think of that?’ ideas for getting your company into the right frame of mind to begin a social media marketing project.” SocialCorp is also in use as a social media textbook at many universities in the U.S. and around the world.

I also do standup comedy in Santa Cruz, San Jose and around the San Francisco Bay Area. I used to play semi=pro hockey and I drove a Zamboni for over 10 years, though not continuously.
