Innovation Manager and Photographer in Costa Rica
Ricardo began his career in 2002 and quickly became a co-founder of the digital agency InterGraphicDESIGNS, where he took on various roles, from web developer to CEO. He dedicated over 12 years to user-centered design and consultative sales.
At Cognitiva, he led a program to accelerate the adoption of Artificial Intelligence across Latin America among Startups and ISVs.
At Roche, he co-created solutions to benefit patients and participated in the management of leadership programs.
For the past four years, Ricardo has focused on the nearshore technology sector. He has served as Delivery Manager at Growth Acceleration Partners and currently works as the Chief Revenue Officer at Hikru.
In his free time, Ricardo is also a photographer. His work has been published in magazines from Glasgow, Hyderabad, Los Angeles, and Paris, and has been exhibited in locations including Chicago, Athens, Hanoi, London, Berlin, and Vienna.
He holds a Master's degree in Computer Science from the University of Costa Rica and a degree in Business Administration from UNED, along with a postgraduate degree in Innovation Management from the University of Leipzig.
Additionally, he has received further training in Product Management from the University System of Maryland, UX Design from the Strategic Design & Innovation Institute, and Design Thinking from the Copenhagen Institute of Interaction Design.
In the field of leadership, he is certified by The Leadership Circle and has been trained in systemic coaching based on the ORSC (Organizational and Relationship Systems Coaching) model.
Ricardo has also been a professor at the National University of Costa Rica (UNA) and the University of Costa Rica (UCR), and he served as Program Director at Universidad Creativa.
He lives in Costa Rica, with his wife and son.
