JS Cournoyer

I'm a husband and father of five wonderful children. I co-founded Montreal Startup and Real Ventures, two seed funds based in Montreal and love working with entrepreneurs and startups. I'm an entrepreneur as well, having co-founded and operated a few startups along the way. I try to live my life by giving more than I take and look for people who share this principle. My life is a constant (good) struggle to find balance between spending time with my wife and kids, with the entrepreneurs I work with, with friends and taking care of myself, which usually means playing hockey, swimming, running or biking. As such, I tend to work with people I care about.
