Hello, I am a Stone fruit
grower based in the Riverland of South Australia. I was born in the region and married into a
fruit growing family I am also extensively involved in local environmental and
stone fruit committees. Being a
dedicated stone fruit grower involved within the Quality Fruit Marketing and QVM Variety group,
an active member of Summer Fruit Australia Assoc. and a member of
an environmental association.

I continually try to balance my
time with my family, wife Joanne and my 5 children(ages 14-21).

My orchard comprises of a mix
of Nectarines, Peaches, Apricots, Apriums, Pluots, Plums and Cherries.

During the summer months my
Wife and children run a fresh fruit stall at our local farmers market where I
try to guage consumer eating preferences on a small time basis.

I have been involved in fruit evaluations since
I first owned a stonefruit orchard in the earth 90's

In 1994 I commenced orchard ownership in partnership
with my wife and her family. At the same
time a collaboration of growers with like minded interests was formed. As a.stonefruit business, we have continued to invest
resources in upgrading to the latest in irrigation and production technology to
expand and develop it's orchard. Being
involved with like minded growers and packers has helped keep an open mind to
new and interesting developments that is shared around amongst the group.
