I've been doing native Android development since Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich) (12+ years) creating mobile applications for small startups as well as large multi-office global corporations. Regardless of the environment I'm working in, I take ownership of what I'm working on: from analyzing requirements, figuring out potential issues, proposing solutions, to developing maintainable, testable code, to shipping and monitoring the rollout, to tracking down the odd device-specific bugs that happen in the Android ecosystem. Practical approach to balance the speed of delivery while making efforts to limit technical debt accumulation. Relationship development with peers that promotes frank and honest discussions, as well as mentoring and learning from each other.
