Judah Ari Gross is the military correspondent for The Times of Israel, a Jerusalem-based news outlet.

He was born in Philadelphia and studied journalism at the University of Maryland.

He has written and edited for a number of publications: The Washington Post, Heeb Magazine, The Prince George's Sentinel, New Voices, The Mitzpeh and the News21 investigative reporting fellowship, winning several national awards.

In 2011, Judah moved to Israel and served as a military photographer in the IDF Spokesperson Unit.

Judah was released from the the army in 2014 and shortly thereafter joined the staff of The Times of Israel.
