Writing is like riding a bike... once you master the basic skills, you can go anywhere with it.

My journey began in journalism school, where they emphasized facts, a keen attention to detail, grammar and deadlines. These core skills continue to inform my work to this day.

From there, I dabbled in marketing, technical writing, freelance articles and white papers. My background is so diverse that I feel like I've had three parallel careers. I think of myself as a tribrid resource.

CONTENT WRITING/EDITORIAL
I'm a really creative person, and love researching and writing about new topics. My portfolio includes brochures, postcards, white papers, bookmarks, flyers and published articles. More recently, I've been writing website, social media and blog content.

TECHNICAL WRITING
I am also very technical and process-oriented, and curious about how things work. My technical writing background includes creating internal standard operating procedures, and client-facing materials like release notes.

DIGITAL MARKETING
Online marketing is my real sweet spot because it's where the creative and technical intersect. I enjoy using email marketing programs, content management systems to distribute my content online.
