Consultant in Boston, Massachusetts

A molecular biologist by training, I'm passionate about utilizing technology and innovation to disrupt the delivery of health care and other public sector services, and transform how we approach the design of policies aimed at serving the public citizenry at large.

I am currently a Fellow at the Mayor's Office for New Urban Mechanics in the City of Boston, working on projects ranging from defining and implementing regulations focused on the use of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) in Boston, and supporting innovation initiatives for Boston Public Schools. Previously, I was a Program Manager for Hospital Telehealth Programs at Boston Children's Hospital, where I was responsible for the deployment and expansion of telehealth strategies across the Boston Children's Hospital Community of Care, covering nearly 400 pediatricians across Massachusetts.

Previous posts include serving as a Project Manager at Empower Interactive where I worked on the deployment and user adoption of our platform across the Military Health System, serving 9.6 million active duty service members and their families worldwide. In addition, I was part of the team at Pipette, a San Francisco-based health tech startup that leveraged mobile and Web platforms to better enable remote patient monitoring. We were acquired by Ginger.io, an MIT Media Lab spin-off specializing in behavioral analytics, and the Health Technologies winner of the 2012 South by Southwest (SXSW) Conference Accelerator. I was part of the founding team of MIT Hacking Medicine and continue to advise health tech startups in areas of Internet, health care and entrepreneurship policy.

A Northern California native, I currently reside in Boston, Mass.
