Lawyer Julian Davis has received praise for his work on various San Francisco Bay Area initiatives. For his efforts on behalf of the Fund for Public Interest Research, the North of Market Neighborhood Improvement Corporation, and the San Francisco Clean Energy Campaign, among other activities, Mr. Davis earned accolades from the city’s board of supervisors. The San Francisco Bay Guardian also designated Julian Davis a “Local Hero” in 2009.

In addition to his experience with economic development and community-based campaigns, Mr. Davis has worked in the legal field as a law clerk for Cotchett, Pitre & McCarthy and as a paralegal for Kumin Sommers, LLP. He currently practices law working with several small business and non-profit clients. In 2012, he campaigned for San Francisco’s District 5 Supervisor, earning support from the San Francisco Tenants Union, the San Francisco Bicycle Coalition, the Harvey Milk Democratic Club, and SEIU Local 1021.

Julian Davis earned his juris doctor at U.C. Hastings College of the Law, where he was a member of the black law students’ association and contributed to the Hastings Law Journal as a staff member. He graduated early with magna cum laude distinction in 2011.
