Julian has dedicated much of his early working with teenagers to motivate and encourage youth to acquire and pursue diverse career opportunities. Julian understands the digital divide and made strides to eliminate it early in his career. Julian made such a contribution to the Plugged In effort that he was invited to the announcement of the public-private sector initiative to close the Digital Divide. The "National Call to Action" event was a huge success in the growth of Julian's career; due in large part to Julian's remarks about his own experiences in closing the "digital divide" In East Palo Alto, CA and his thoughtful introduction of President Clinton.  


Julian has been the recipient of a number of recognition awards for his relentless commitment to excellence in his job performance and community service. He also actively participates as a volunteer, instructor, mentor and advisor for various nonprofit organizations.
