I am a writer and speaker about all things sexuality, social justice, reconciliation, and community. I most recently served on staff at Wheaton College in the office of the Chaplain, where I had the privilege of supporting some of the most earnest students in the world. Prior to that, I spent several years investing in high school students through a mentoring program in West Dallas. The students in both of those communities shaped my life in profoundly beautiful ways.

In addition to writing and speaking, I've also done a lot of consulting with colleges, churches, and various organizations seeking to better love the diverse group of people in their communities. Most of it has been related to LGBT people (particularly Christians), and I've sought to encourage humility and compassion where there's been fear and judgment. Because I live the questions and love Jesus with all my heart, it’s a joy to humanize conversations related to sexual minorities in Christian communities.

I earned a Masters in English for fun, and spend most of my time playing in the outdoors, laughing with friends, listening to the stories of those around me, and dreaming of ways to increase tenderness in the world.
