*** Keep up with my various efforts around the web at juliekuehl.me. ***

By day, I serve as the IT Communication Specialist for the North Dakota University System / System Information Technology Services where I help get the word out about major IT projects and maintain the sits.ndus.edu website.

I also serve as a minor designer / programmer / developer and enjoy flexing my web development skills (WordPress / HTML / CSS / JavaScript / PHP) from time to time as I'm helping to build out a large network of websites. And I work with SharePoint, which is mostly serving as our intranet.

I'm looking to move into web design / development full-time and have juliekuehl.com dedicated to that effort.

I am a lifelong learner and seem to be taking classes continually. I've studied agriculture, economics, statistics, communication, instructional design and technology, and web design / development. A few samples of some of my projects can be found at geekintraining.net.

Podcasts are a particular passion of mine. I love to listen to and participate in them. I host Apptastic Reviewers and SciFi Tech Talk, and I have been a guest on the International Mac Podcast, The Tech Lounge, and other assorted podcasts since 2005.

I am a freelance writer that contributes to MyMac.com, The Mac Observer, and The Grammar Doctors. I have written for Touch Reviews, The Tech Lounge, and All Things Apple in the past.

I also have a blog here and there, including one about riding my Harley-Davidson and a spot for random thoughts
