Committed executive in Honolulu, Hawaii

Most think that life's struggles remain at the airline gates on their way to the Hawaiian islands. The problems here are as difficult to solve as they are in cities across the globe.

As the former executive director for the Mayor's Office of Housing, I created policy to improve the quality of life for Honolulu residents - from those who struggled daily to make ends meet, to those who did not have a roof over their heads.

I have worked on affordable housing policy, preservation and redevelopment, on education, immigration, and economic development in the high cost cities of Honolulu and Los Angeles. I have been blessed to meet and collaborate with some of the brightest minds and biggest hearts in communities across the nation.
