Junaid Iqbal

Junaid aspires to work at Wall Street as an investment professional. He currently works as Assistant Manager Treasury at Mobilink, a VimpelCom (NYSE: VIP) company. He manages different financial instruments worth over US$ 500 million including investments, derivatives & off-shore debt. He is also responsible for managing investor relations including relations with international rating agencies. At Mobilink, he has been given "Century Club 2011" award on his outstanding performance. Earlier, he worked as Assistant Product Manager/Senior Engineer at CambridgeDocs, a division of EMC Document Sciences (NYSE: EMC). He also worked as Intern in Warid Telecom, a joint venture of SingTel and Abu Dhabi Group.

Junaid plans to complete Chartered Financial Analyst® by 2013. Currently, he is a Candidate for CFA® level 2. He completed his MBA in 2010 from Suleman Dawood School of Business, Lahore University of Management Sciences, which is ranked among top business schools in Asia. He also attended a semester at Universiti Sains Malaysia as part of his MBA exchange program. 

Junaid is an active member of MENSA since 2005. He has served as City Head Lahore, within MENSA Pakistan from 2007 to 2010. He has also been an active member of IEEE and other student run societies during his university days.

Junaid enjoys traveling, meeting different people & understanding different cultures. He loves to capture life in pictures. He has travelled to many countries in Asia. He now plans to go on a Euro trip in 2012.
