Born in Australia, Justin is a self taught musician and songwriter. Drawing his influences from Aussie music legend Slim Dusty/ Spencer P. Jones and Maurice Frawley and American great Johnny Cash, Justin fuses more contemporary influences such as Townes Van Zant, Steve Earle, Social Distortion and even The Ramones and The Sex Pistols. Justin currently performs as a solo act, and with his cowpunk infused band The P-47's.
