Howdy! my name is Justin and I'm from Texas. I enjoy long walks on the beach and...no, I really do! I also enjoy traveling and learning about the world surrounding us. I believe my high school guidance counsellor nailed it when she called me a "hospitality person". My hospitality career began at eighteen. More than a decade later I still haven't worked a day in my life. As Confucius wrote, "Choose a job you love and you'll never have to work a day in your life."
Not working doesn't mean I haven't put in long hours. I opened properties in Houston with Starwood, Hilton, and Marriott, I pulled many all-nighters while working on my undergrad studies at Houston, my MBA at Guelph, and my PhD at Texas A&M. Here is more information about me...
RESEARCH
I am most interested in sustainable hospitality pedagogy and socio-cultural dimensions of sustainability. This often includes market-based conservation and best practices in hospitality and tourism.

CONSULTING
