Justin Cure likes to see change happen and wants to be the catalyst for that change. He is the Information Services Manager at the City of Longview, Texas. During his 10 plus years at the City, Justin and his team have created an enterprise GIS from scratch, implemented a citywide GIS-centric work order management system in the cloud, implemented a mobile app to take citizen requests, and migrated email to Google Apps for Government. Last year Longview started providing IT support to the City of Kilgore. Current projects for Longview include expanding virtualization to more end users and moving more applications to the cloud. Justin has a strong belief that IT and GIS make the World a better place to live by solving problems and improving processes.
During Justin's free time he enjoys smoking BBQ, reading about technology, and traveling with his wife. He has been to 46 states and a few countries. They plan to travel to many more.
