Justin Lawrence

I am currently the spokesperson for CapeNature - The Western Cape Nature Conservation Board. Previously I worked at DUO Marketing - a PR firm with a focus on clients in the ICT industry. I have wide-ranging experience as a writer, including as a political journalist for the Daily Dispatch in the Eastern Cape. I have worked for Sunday Media and hayibo.com and contributed as a regular columnist for 48 hours. I also have extensive experience in writing for the web and a rich understanding of SEO, online advertising, analytics and online brand elevation and reputation management. I have studied internet marketing and am a Quirk Certified eMarketer. Outside of work I have developed an interest in photography and have completed two courses in digital photography.

A brief sports career saw me at one stage become a master in the art of both putt-putt and corridor cricket before I injured myself while playing fantasy football. Nonetheless, I still enjoy a passionate love affair with Arsenal, The Springboks, The Proteas, The Stormers and Bafana Bafana.

I have a Bachelor of Arts Degree from UCT majoring in Politics, Media and Film.
