I’m a designer, strategic problem solver and idea wrangler. I design tools and services to advance under-served populations using empathy, ideation, prototyping and testing. When I’m not conducting design research or organizing UX Camps, you can find me at the farmers market, coffee shop, or museum.

I innovate in the areas of food security, income security, housing and isolation, creating digital products using design thinking and user experience to prototype and build products, like the Local Assistance Directory, which provides a comprehensive list of programs and services for the vulnerable 50+ population in their city or town. In addition to my innovation work, I manage registration and the volunteer check-in experience for AARP Foundation's annual meal packing event, the Meal Pack Challenge. The event has grown to over 4,500 volunteers packing close to 1.6 million meals over a 2-day period.

I co-organize UXCamp DC and UXCamp NYC, managing volunteers, working with sponsors, writing marketing copy, handling social media and overseeing the day of event operations. I earned my MBA in Strategic Design at Philadelphia University.
