KAKAI Mam-eh

Kabalikat sa Kaunlaran ng mga Aeta Inc. (KAKAI) is a SEC-registered service oriented organization based in Bgy. Sta Juliana, Capas, Tarlac operating in eleven Aeta sitios between the O’Donnell River and the Zambales and Tarlac City boundaries. Formed in 2004, it has five main programs—land tenure, agriculture, education, health, and spiritual development. Kakai’s main work focuses on capacity building for Aeta communities, advocacy campaign for rights to ancestral domains, networking with other NGOS and people’s organizations, and education program for primary education.

Mam-eh is an Aeta word for sharing.
