After attending the University of North Texas, Dr. Kamran Khoobehi moved to Missouri, where he attended the St. Louis University School of Medicine. After earning his M.D., he moved once again to New Orleans. Dr. Khoobehi then undertook his studies at LSU Health Sciences Center. In the Department of Surgery, he completed an internship and a residency. Dr. Kamran Khoobehi then focused his studies on plastic and reconstructive surgery through a post-doctoral fellowship. At present, he belongs to the faculty at LSU Health Sciences Center, where he serves as a Clinical Associate Professor of Surgery. He also serves as Chief of Aesthetic Surgery at the institution. In addition, Dr. Kamran Khoobehi oversees a private practice in Metairie, Louisiana. He established Advanced Plastic Surgery in 1997, offering a range of surgical and non-surgical services.
