A little longer. Kara has been working in the public relations field for the last 9+ years. She graduated from THE Ohio State University where she studied geography and religion. Her career has covered everything from nonprofits, public affairs, and politics to consumer packaged goods, adtech, and startups.
Kara is currently a communications scientist and a petite publicist with the amazing team at Small Girls PR. She is also co-founder of Hack'n jill, a startup working to close the gender gap in technology.
She is a newly minted resident of Williamsburg in Brooklyn where she lives with her two roommates and also two absolutely and ridiculously adorable pups Rugby and Sophie, both rescue mutts.
