Karas Lamb

Journalist. Screenwriter. Creative. My work is dedicated to the preservation of Black American musical traditions, through rigorous study of all artforms, folkways, socio-economic conditions, and policy informing American culture. Descendant of field hollers and worn hymnals - direct product of the ghetto blaster, I am mining music across eras and continents to translate the sound of the diaspora as it evolves. My goal is to document, encourage, and embody the most important creative movements of my lifetime by capturing musical history as it is made. I write, work, and think across platforms. I live comfortably outside of the box. Singular voice. Sound opinion.
