Dr. Karen Mishra

I am a business school profesor and teach marketing, digital marketing, management, and business consulting. I have served as CMO of Faro10, a mental health analytics SaaS company in addition to helping found two other health tech startups . My husband, Aneil, and I have been studying trustworthy leaders for over 20 years and we enjoy sharing their stories of employee engagement and organizational success. Based on our research, we coach leaders and teams to develop communication and collaboration skills based on their strengths, which help them build trust. My passion is raising money for nonprofits that make a difference in the lives of others. Preston's League is a nonprofit that provides $25 weekly wishes for families in the Duke Pediatric Bone Marrow Unit. We started Preston's League to honor our 4-year old friend, Preston, who died from AML.

In my free time, I watch UNC and UM sports or go to the beach. In my quiet time, I love to read and enjoy music, as well as spend time with my family.
