Karina Siegmund

I am a German designer who found her way to the westernmost point of Norway. Rough nature, stormy weather and fast-changing lights create a landscape of beauty. I settled down at this remote place, with sheep moving freely, surfers enjoying the rough sea and saltwater in the air. Nature provides me with an endless catalogue of inspiration. Inspiration that finds its visual outcome in my art and design. I am passionate about weaving - and look back upon 12 years of weaving experience. I now find myself combining an ancient craft with today´s technology to create woven textiles inspired by nature.
