I served on President Obama’s Council of Experts for Entrepreneurship, as Danish representative to UNESCOs 30th and 32nd General Conferences, and boards of institutions such as the Copenhagen Institute for Futures Studies (Instituttet for Fremtidsforskning), the Danish Evaluation Institute (Danmarks EvalueringsInstitut),the Council on European Policies (Rådet for Europæisk Politik, Udenrigsministeriet), the Danish Board of Education (Folkeskolerådet, Undervisningsministeriet), UBS Advisory Council, the Founding Committee of Women’s Entrepreneurship Day and the Steering Committee of From #MeToo to #WeDo. And even had the opportunity to co-create a sustainable business incubator in the Panamanian jungle.
Rooted in years of experience, I have lectured on managing creative processes, stakeholders and organizations at Pratt School of Design, the Danish School of Design and New York University. I was declared Denmark’s New Creative Eliteby leading think-tank, Mandag Morgen (2014) and Up and Comingby Stockholm Int. Film Festival (2007).
Throughout my career I have sought to be a driving force for nurturing creativity, while maintaining safe spaces and meeting goals. I believe in accomplishment through shared vision and values, that partnerships create greatness beyond the sum of the parts and leadership in the 21st century is inclusive and dynamic.
As Copenhagen Industries took form, I returned from New York, to Denmark in 2018. By December 2020, after five years at the helm, having been the featured startup of the Berlin Film Festival/EFM Horizon, and delivered to our first feature film, I am ready to hand it over, and for my next challenges.
