I am a Montessorian deeply interested in the development of people and communities, knowing that when we work on maximizing the potential of each individual, we can transform society. My interests led me to international development with stints in East Asia, Latin America, and East Africa, and at the World Bank as a fraud and corruption investigator for Latin America’s portfolio of Bank projects. Going deeper into Montessori theory with its underlining foundation of developing the human person, collaboration, and interdependence, has guided me to earn Association Montessori Internationale (AMI) Primary and Elementary diplomas, the AMI Adolescent Orientation certificate, and a Master's in Montessori Education.

I volunteer with the Junior League of Washington, assist with the Catechesis of the Good Shepherd, serve with A Simple House, and have experience on non-profit boards including previously with a Spanish-English Montessori school, and currently with the Capitol Page Alumni Association.

Originally from the Buffalo-Niagara region in New York, I am a first-generation college graduate and Pell Grant recipient, earning a degree in economics with minors in environmental science and Spanish. I greatly enjoy baseball and love to hike, backpack, and rock climb – and have done so in over six countries and 11 U.S. States.
