Kate Hendry is a widely published writer and poet. Her work has been published Harpers, New Writing Scotland, Mslexia, The North, and many other magazines and anthologies.

For over 20 years, Kate Hendry has taught English and creative writing to students of all ages in schools, colleges, universities, prisons and in the community. She currently runs the Nothing But the Poem reading groups for the Scottish Poetry Library.

Kate Hendry is a visiting English lecturer at Edinburgh Napier University, is editing the second edition of Tools of The Trade for the Scottish Poetry Library and is awaiting the publication of her first collection of poems by HappenStance Press in 2016.
