My name is Kate, I live in Boston and work in technology media relations at Pluck PR, a boutique firm I founded. We represent companies such as Sailthru, Solve Media, Onswipe, Taptera, NewsCred and more. Previously I was at LEWIS PR as Senior Media Strategist working on clients such as Progress Software, Pret A Manger, Lexalytics, Wayfair, and Lexmark.

For several years before that I was living in NYC and working at Brew Media Relations working with companies including NetSuite, Zong, Raptr, Rearden Commerce, Indaba Music and more.

I attended Skidmore College and am currently crocheting a yurt in my free time. I serve as the Chair of the Young Friends of the Public Garden and on the group's Friends Council as well as sit on the board of The Learning Project Elementary School.

I also maintain, with some regularity, an art and design blog, Pokate.
