I am a hands-on creative executive, my skills covering writing, directing and producing acclaimed television series.I have established a variety of highly successful formats and served as a creative fixer rescuing story, in both the field and post.My background in film production enables me to run a set, any set, as I feel comfortable with many moving parts. I excel at bringing collaborative levels to their highest potential, with each team I supervise, because I have treated my career as my craft.I am perhaps most proud of my decision to push for a 90-minute premiere episode, which ultimately would garner 19 million viewers- a record at the time. It was both risky and absolutely correct, although it was clear that it was "on me" if it failed.No pressure.My episode 109 was nominated for an Emmy. An episode I prepped for edit and essentially wrote won the first Emmy of a beloved series.My goal is to contribute my seasoned perspective (20 years in entertainmen) and impeccable work ethic to unscripted fare as a consulting and specialty producer.The second tier of my creative goals Include producing documentary & scripted projects for new platforms of relevant content providers.-Educated at University of Virginia-Travelled the world-Can produce everything with right input from any client-Manage huge teams of mostly men-Calm under pressure-No problem making decisions requiring leadership.
