Katie Kovach

I am passionate about plants, science, education, the environment, and working with my hands. Working with environmental issues and studying plants closely has  influenced my passion for environmental literacy, citizen science, and communicating science to a broad audience. My current research interests include phenology, biogeography, and systematics. I also create nature based art and am a member of the LabourLove Gallery Collective and Recyclique in Durham, NC.
