Katie White

My name is Katie White. I am a certified elementary classroom teacher and educational technology coach. I graduated from Gonzaga University in Spokane, Washington, and I completed my Masters of Arts in Educational Technology program at Michigan State University. My husband and I have lived and taught internationally for 9 years. We have two young girls who also love to travel and see the world. It's a passion of my own because I feel more engaged in what's going on when I see the World. Engagement is something I take seriously in my classroom too. Personalized education infused with technology is a passion of mine.

I am a runner, a fly fisher and I love to travel. Now that I am a parent of students, I approach education from another point of view. I look at parent communication with a more critical eye in my own profession

Inquiry is at the forefront of all I do. It guides my approach to technology integration. It's the way to open minds to everything and, one must have an open mind to bring this way of thinking into the lives of others.
