An accomplished legal executive with over 27 years of experience, Kathleen Chagnon presently serves as Senior Vice President, General Counsel, and Secretary of Remedi SeniorCare. Headquartered in Baltimore, Maryland, Remedi SeniorCare provides innovative, customer centric institutional pharmacy services to long-term care facilities, including assisted living and skilled nursing institutions. A member of the senior executive team, Kathleen Chagnon provides legal and strategic advice to the CEO, Board of Directors and company executives on a broad range of matters, including healthcare regulatory matters, strategic growth initiatives, intellectual property and general corporate and finance projects.

Kathleen Chagnon earned a Bachelor of Arts with honors from Stanford University in Palo Alto, California, in 1981. A French literature major, Chagnon also studied at the University of Paris-Sorbonne. She later attended Columbia Law School in New York City, earning her Juris Doctorate in 1985, with a concentration in international law. At graduation, Chagnon was awarded the Parker School Recognition of Achievement in International and Comparative Law. Chagnon currently holds bar memberships in Maryland and the District of Columbia.

Prior to joining Remedi SeniorCare in 2009, Kathleen Chagnon held numerous senior-level legal counsel positions with prominent corporations in the financial and energy sectors. Her previous positions include Vice President, Deputy General Counsel, and Chief Compliance Officer for American International Group (AIG), Senior Vice President, General Counsel, Chief Compliance Officer and Corporate Secretary for Constellation Energy Group, and Vice President and Corporate General Group Counsel for the St. Paul Companies, Inc.

As a longtime board member and officer for the Baltimore Symphony Orchestra, Kathleen Chagnon currently serves as the Corporate Secretary of the organization. In addition to her official duties, she frequently advises the board on legal matters.
